Greetings my brothers and sisters

I am amazed  how fast we are racing towards the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to be taken and transformed in the twinkling of an eye (1 Corinthians 15:50–58). In this portion of Scripture, Paul reminds us that any moment, by the time we hear the trumpet call, we will have already been transformed and taken to His kingdom. Brothers and sisters, that is our destiny. What else matters besides doing what Paul is exhorting us to do? He says, “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.”

I recently gave a word of prophecy for our church. God spoke from His Word directly to me to give to our church here in this body of believers a very simple and direct exhortation.

"I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry" (2 Timothy 4:1–5).

Let’s minister to this community and with each other in unity.

He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love me?"  And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep" (John 21:17).

But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it” (Luke 18:16–17).

But the Lord said to me:  “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send  you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.

Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant” (Jeremiah 1:7–10).

He created the heavens and earth, the great mountains, the grand forests, the great plains, deserts, and all else. He created all living creatures, great and small, in every shape and form. Only to one did He give the greatest imagineable blessing—creating man in His own image. You and I are the image of God! To honor that blessing, that image of God, we should respect and nurture it to the best of our ability with a healthy lifestyle, decent nutritional habits, and an ethical, Spirit-led lifestyle.

Maintaining a good level of physical fitness helps to give us the ability to serve, to show the Lord and His way to those we meet along life's pathway and maintain our stamina to search and know the Word, to do God's work. What better example can we be to the world around us than to be sound and healthy in His image with compassion and a righteous lifestyle as best we can each manage—with the Lord as our guide.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
